Our Service

If you decide to purchase a mandolin from us you will receive an award winning service. At the time of purchase we encourage established players to discuss instrument setup with our in house mandolin technician. We will provide a custom setup on your instrument before it is dispatched though our secure insured courier delivery service. However, if you are new to playing we would like to assure you that the mandolin will be setup to a high standard before leaving us.

We welcome any questions you may have via email info@projectmusic.net or telephone 01392 425125.

A Brief History

The Mandolin is thought to be a descendent of the Lute and evidence of its existence in France is captured in the form of cave paintings dated 8500 BC. The mid 1800's found the Mandolin becoming part of popular culture in North America and was a recognized instrument along side the Mandola and Ukelele. In the 60's and 70's the Mandolin grew legend for the popular Nashville sound and later became part of folk rock then pop music where it has played and important roll since.

Choosing Your Banjo

When choosing your mandolin from us, you can be assured that we source only the best brands. The first thing to decide is what you will use your Mandolin for, are you going to use it on stage? If you're only ever going to use the Mandolin as an acoustic instrument you shouldn't spend your budget on something with a pickup.

Like all instruments the quality of the materials used to build it reflect directly on the quality of sound. Our pricing structure on our site will make things very easy for you to choose a mandolin. Generally the more expensive instrument is made with better quality materials.

We enjoy helping our customers to choose the right instrument, so please feel free to call or email us for advice.
