006 Deluxe series electric guitar from Schecter. Very well done carved basswood body with superb access to higher frets and a stunning look. Schecter's own machine heads hold their tune well. They should know their parts, that's what as a company they started off doing, supplying custom parts to other manufacturers. The nut is a GraphTech Tusq job giving bell like highs and helping the bass drive through nicely, Well cut slots in the GraphTech nut and it's consistent nature mean strings don't stick when you are altering the tuning.

The Schecter Diamond Plus pickups are controlled by a simple 3 way switch and one tone one volume knob setup. All these components feel reassuringly rugged and smooth and the pickups allow a nice range of tones from raspy crunch on the bridge to liquidy lead on the neck. The strung through body improves sustain dramatically as does the TonePros TOM bridge, the bridge also improves tone allowing treble to zing and cut and bass to be warm and resonant. Each saddle of the bridge is adjustable meaning intonation can be set very accurately, you wont need to do this for a while though as each Schecter guitar is setup in the US.

An excellent work horse of a guitar, gig it till your fingers bleed and it will still be there ready for more.
