The Simon and Patrick songsmith acoustic guitar is a very responsive and extremely well balanced dreadnought acoustic guitar. With a Varnish Burst finish and a select pressure tested solid top with wild cherry back and sides its tone (as with all S&P models) will only get better the more the guitar is played. we particularly like the blend of tone and powerful dreadnought performance, and of course that great looking semi gloss burst finish. These guitars are built in Canada by a team of extremely well respected and dedicated luthiers. Simon and Patrick have worked hard to deliver a superb guitar at this price range. The Songsmith Dreadnought Acoustic guitars really is a terrific all round performer and will out gun many other well known makes that cost far more money. We would give this dreadnought guitar 5 stars for overall sound and performance and can not find a better range of instruments on the market today at this price range. Prepairing a guitar to be dispatched to a customer is an extremely important part of our service. It starts with a thorough inspection of the material and construction quality. If we do not feel the guitar reaches the expected standard of the make and model it will NOT be dispatched.
When it is established that the construction and material is of the expected quality we then assess how the guitar performs both tonally and playability. Adjustments are then made to make sure the instrument achieves optimum performance.
