Just plug the amPlug directly into your electric guitar (the amPlugs fit vitually every guitar including Strats and Strat copies with the angles input socket), plug in headphones, and run your CD or MP3 player into the amPlug's AUX input using a mini-jack to mini-jack cable (AC00478). amPlug Metal reproduces two stages of ultra-high gain plus a mid-cut circuit, giving you modern metal high-gain sound. Using analogue modelling technology, the VOX amPlug delivers serious amp tone anywhere and anytime. Even the circuit response of the original amp is completely simulated. The simulation extends not only to the response of the tone circuits, but also to the way in which the high frequency and gain are affected when you turn down the volume control of the guitar.
With up to fifteen hours of battery life, it's easy to play the VOX Metal amPlug anywhere. Besides being an ideal home practice tool, the Metal amPlug is a great way to warm up before a live performance, or on the road. And the VOX amPlug is not just a convenient way to get great guitar sound, with an auxiliary input jack you can jam along with a CD / MP3 player.
