Charvel
The company was founded in 1977 by Wayne Charvel, a former repairman, who wanted to make guitars that catered to the style and sound of the hard rock and metal musicians of the time. Charvel guitars quickly became a favorite of many notable rock and metal guitarists, such as Eddie Van Halen, Randy Rhoads, and George Lynch.
