This 21 fret Flash Coat Journeyman Relic Lacquer 7lbs 1oz custom shop guitar has 1-Piece Rift Sawn 1950 Blackguard profile Maple neck and it boast a popular 7.25" to 9.5" Vintage Compound Radius fingerboard. This Fender Custom Shop 1950 Double Esquire Blonde also has '51-'54 Tele Bridge with Brass Barrel Saddles, 1-Ply Black Phenolic, Custom Shop Hand-Wound '50/'51 Blackguard, and it comes with deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity.

This Fender Custom Shop digs deep into the history of Fender’s earliest solid-body guitar with the introduction of a fascinating new model—the 1950 Double Esquire. Back then, the single-pickup Esquire debuted in April 1950 as Fender’s very first solid body electric Spanish guitar, joined a few months later in October 1950 by a two-pickup model. The new Custom Shop 1950 Double Esquire honors the models of that formative year and then some, with a distinctive combination of finely crafted features that make it very much its own machine.

The one-piece rift sawn maple neck is sculpted with a 1950-style “Blackguard” profile for comfortable and period-correct full-hand feel, topped by a vintage compound-radius (7.5”-9.5”) maple fingerboard with 21 medium vintage (47095) frets and a bone nut. Dual Custom Shop hand-wound ’50-’51 Blackguard pickups with modded ’51 Nocaster wiring deliver clear, crisp highs with well-balanced midrange and low end, with the extra versatility of blend control for both pickups. Other premium features include a single-ply black phenolic pickguard, three-way pickup switch, ’51-’54 Telecaster bridge with brass barrel saddles, vintage-style tuners, disc string tree, deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity.

For nearly 25 years we have been helping players from around the world get hold of rather special, rare, and sought-after instruments. We have shipped guitars to many countries, including Australia, Japan, China, America, Canada, Korea, Israel, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Syria, Turkey, France, Germany, Norway, Austria and virtually all other European areas. Most months we find ourselves sending guitars to many of these locations. We are very experienced and ready to help with any questions or needs you may have.

We offer a bespoke shipping service and will work hard to ensure you receive both an excellent level of service and a very competitive shipping quote. We only use premium courier services, such as Fed EX, UPS, DHL, TNT etc.

All prices outside the UK would normally be charged less our UK TAX (VAT). So export prices will typically be far lower than our listed website inc UK vat prices. We are happy to advise you on any aspects of the export and import process you may have questions about.

Please email us with your location and let us know what you are interested in and we will work out an export price to include shipping to you.
