With roasted flame maple 3A Modern C neck finished with a sought after oil satin Lacquer on the back of the neck, this 7lbs 10.5oz 21 fret premium Ash body guitar has been built to our very own specifications and we really think its looks the part. This Fender Custom Shop 55 Strat CC in Texas Tea with flame neck combines a player orientated design with Custom Shop level one off carefully selected woods and boats a wonderful Closet Classic Flash Coat Lacquer TT that perfectly emulates the look and feel of a guitar that has been carefully stored in the closet for some time from new. So this brand new American Custom Shop Stratocaster has very subtle gentle aging that helps add to its appeal, but its only the very popular minimum aging level, so its far from a banged up heavy relic.

We especially like the use of premium Ash in the body along with a set of 3 sizzling Custom Shop Texas Special Single-Coil Strat pickups. The premium Rosewood fingerboard has a 9.5" radius and the choice of shell pickguard works real well with the Texas Tea CC Finish. Every aspect of this unique guitar build and has been carefully thought out to offer players after a wonderful one off Custom Shop Strat something to get excited about. its been a real big hit with all our staff and as far as we are aware this is the first time Fender have ever made this finish in a custom shop.

Its hard to get across just how special the choice of Texas Tea is on a custom shop of this quality. Radiating a hint of dark rich metallic flakes against a dreamy dark black, up close and personal this is one remarkable looking Strat.
