A rather special 7.25" to 9.5" Vintage Compound Radius with 1-Piece Maple Neck very nice condition 21 fret 7lbs 8.5oz Custom Shop Strat one off build created to showcase this premium series of Fender guitars to the Namm 2019 American show. With certificate of authenticity and official Namm paperwork, this very clean and tidy Journeyman Relic Fender Custom Shop NAMM 2019 LTD 50s Strat Pre Owned guitar has a very nice Aged Burgundy Mist finish and sympathetically aged hardware. We are impressed with fantastic tone options from the the hand wound pickups and creative 5 way switching. This guitar will appeal to both collectors and also those looking for a seriously nice more individual build ready to perform at the highest level.

Read on for a bit of history to this one off rather special Journeyman Relic model. This fantastic Pre Owned Custom Shop Strat was built to showcase CS guitars at the NAMM show in 2019 and was chosen by a dealer off the show floor! It has now made its way to us and is a n insanely cool guitar. With great specs and looks its a real eye catcher. The Handwound pickups are super dynamic and make for a very versatile strat! It comes with the COA, Case candy and some added NAMM paperwork. It comes with the case, however the case has picked up some stains in the tweed on the bottom side from storage.

The two-piece select Alder body exudes balanced highs and sweet midrange with lively resonance. The generally well-cared-for Aged ( nicely Relic'd )looks includes light finish checking, several “friendly” down-to-the-wood nicks and dings, some dulling of the hardware, and general moderate playing wear. The look of a very lucky find, in short.

The one-piece flat-sawn maple neck has a 10/56 “V” profile, topped by a comfortable vintage compound-radius (7.25”-9.5”) maple fingerboard that flattens slightly toward the nut for easy bending, with 21 Jescar 50085 frets and a bone nut. All three Custom Shop hand-wound Tomatillo/Polano pickups (reverse-wound/reverse-polarity middle pickup for hum cancellation in switch positions 2 and 4) deliver crystal-clear highs and well-balanced midrange, with ’1/2 Blender Strat wiring and five-way switching. Other premium features include a 59 strat parchment pickguard, Custom Shop vintage synchronized tremolo bridge, vintage-style tuners, wing string tree with nylon spacer, deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity.
